Merry Christmas

Santa came to our house and left some really cool stuff. Cooper was super excited about his jeep. He wanted to drive it around the house that morning. Ryleigh was excited about all her toys too, but she wanted to be in that jeep with her bubby. It was a great morning. After we had Christmas we loaded up and headed to Midlothian for some great family christmas which I will post about next. We did not take a lot of pics because we recorded the morning so that we could enjoy the time with the kids.

So it has been a while since I have done a post. Chalk that up to I lost my camera battery charger and so I could not get any of my pictures. It is sad that it took me this long to go get a new one.

Lets go back a couple of months to Christmas Eve 2011. We had a great Christmas. We have started our own family traditions and it is so fun. The pictures below are basically what we did that night

Of course you have to set out cookies and milk for Santa. This year the kids and I made snicker doodles. They were yummy.

Since we feed Santa a snack we also make sure we dont forget the raindeer. Here are the kids putting out the raindeer food.

Most importantly we celebrate Jesus Birthday. We make him a cake and sing to him. Remembering the reason for the season

Last we always take a family picture in front of the tree on christmas eve.

Cooper story

I wanted to write this in my blog so one day when he looks back he can read about this.
One day we were driving somewhere and Cooper was in the back talking about Christmas. He kept saying I want Santa to bring me this and me this and me this.... You get the point. Well I felt that we needed to have another talk about the true meaning of Christmas. So I started to explain to him about the birth of Jesus and that we are celebrating that God put him here on earth. Then I told him that it is Jesus Birthday. When I said that his little brain just jumped into overdrive and he told me that we needed to have a party for him. Then he paused for a little bit and said well wait how are we going to get to Heaven. As I was explaining that we can not go there right now but one day we will be there, He said oh I know. We just need to go to the store and buy a really tall ladder then we can get there. And then in all seriousness he said and we should bring some ice cream.
Such a sweet story that I will never forget.

We did something new this year. we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through some neighborhoods in highland park to look at christmas lights. What great memories we made. Loved every moment of it.

Trey just celebrated another year of life, so to help him celebrate we went out and spent the day has a family. The morning of his birthday Cooper was asking why we were not having a party like his parties. He said we could invite his friends over and have it in the back yard. (that is what we did for his this past year) He was so worried that his daddy was not having a paryt. I jokingly said well maybe we should have daddy a party at chuck e cheese. Oh man was that the wrong thing to say around a 3 year old. He said that was a great idea. As I was trying to do damage control we loaded up and went to see the trains at north park and then did a little shopping. The whole time Cooper keeps asking us about chuck e cheese. A little later after naps Cooper let us know that he was ready to go to chuck e cheese. I apologized to Trey and said looks like that is where we are having your dinner. We did convince Cooper to go to Gatti town instead and he was fine with that. We did have a great time eating pizza and playing games just the 4 of us. Maybe next year we will get a bounce house for Trey's birthday. lol
We did have an adult night out thanks to Alcia for babysitting and got to go eat and watch the cowboys game with our good friends Robert and Steph.

Cooper, Ryleigh and I built a gingerbread house this year. Cooper spent a lot of time decorating and Ryleigh would just come up and still some candy and run. Such a stink. Our roof pieces broke so our house has a sky light.

Santas Village

One day last week we went to Santa's Village and let the kids play. The kids had fun going through all the buildings that make up his Village. They have a bank,fire house, police station, bear hospital, and several other little buildings. This year was better than last year because it was not so crowded so the kids enjoyed it a little more, oh and it was a bit warmer. here are some pics of the night

Annual Girls christmas night

This year we did a cooking class at Central Market and it was one of the best nights we have had. It was so fun to learn new tricks on cooking and laughing through the whole night. We also got to drink while we cooked what could be better. Our dinner turned out Yummmy!!!! After we stuffed ourselves we headed to a late movie and were the only people watching Footloose. Can you believe that nobody else wanted to see that movie at 10pm. A great night that I will not forget

And Jingle is Back

Our Elf on the Shelf has returned for another season of fun. Cooper finally named him this year. His name is Jingle. If has been fun having Jingle around. Cooper loves to first thing in the morning to get up and go look for him. Ryleigh does not get the big deal about this doll thing but she loves the candy he brings every day for their advent calendar. Ha ha

Just kidding about the playoff bound, there is no playoffs in blastball :) Cooper had his last game earlier this month. This was a rough season. Cooper started off doing so well and then half way through he decided that he just did not want to play anymore. It was very frustrating. He would just sit in the dougout. But then thank goodness for his last game the ballplayer came back to life and he had one of the best games he has ever played. We did not have an end of season party this time because of the holidays so we presented trophies and had our snacks. here are some pics

We had a fun Halloween night. The kids got all dressed up and were ready to go get as much candy as they could. Cooper wanted to be buzz lightyear this year so he was. Well at first he wanted to be MR Smee from captain hook. I bet you are wondering were they came from. Well Ryleigh was tinker bell for halloween so I wanted Cooper to be Captain Hook and he told me know because he is mean and that he wanted to be Mr Smee because he is nice. So I was on the hunt for his costume and then decided I was just going to have to make it. Well then a couple of days later he told me that he really wanted to be Buzz so that is what we did. Ryleigh hated her costume from the minute I put it on her she was trying to pull it off. Distraction was the only way we kept her dressed. This year we went to Boo on Ballard which is at downtown Wylie and we did our churches trunk or treat. The kids got more candy than I thought or hoped they would get. Then we came home and went to a couple of houses before it got to cold for Ryleigh to be out and to late. It was fun.

Pumpkin Carving

Here are some pictures of our adventure in pumpkin carving. Cooper did better this year about getting in there and digging out the yucky stuff as he calls it. Ryleigh wanted nothing to do with it until a little later in the process then she was kind of intrigued. The kids did a great job and then we went and put it on the front porch.

Ryleigh's 15 months

I should have posted this back in September when she had her 15 month appt but some how it got forgotten. So better late than never. Ryleigh checked out great at her appt. She weighed in at 20 lbs 14 oz which is the 20% and her height is 32.5 inches and is 97% and her head is 18.8 and is the 90%. She got a lot of shots that day and it took me and the nurse to hold her down. Ryleigh is a lot of fun at this age. Her personality is shining through. She can be so loving and want to cuddle with you while she holds your thumb while she sucks hers. One day I am going to miss that. She is also so very active. She climbs, jumps, runs, and tries to do everything her brother does. She can now climb on our bed and she has managed to teach herself how to get down and her latest trick is she can climb into her crib by climbing up the rocking chair and some how pulling herself into her crib. I have not seen it all happen with my eyes but one day I went into her room and there she was standing in her crib. Then a couple of days later I caught her in the act of standing on the arm of the chair. Time to move the chair. Her vocabulary is getting so good. She can ask for several things so now we dont have to guess. She no longer likes to give kisses which I miss. Hopefully that will change until then she just has to suffer with getting them. She is very attached to her daddy now. When he gets home for lunch or when he comes home for the day she will not let him put her down. She loves to cuddle up with him in the bed. She is starting to get a little bit picky of what she eats. She is still a great eater though. I think that sums her up for the time being. We just love having her as a part of our family.

Even More Pumpkins

Today Shelley and I took the kids for our yearly trip to see the pumpkins. We have been doing this since we had our first babies in 2008. That year was so simple. Cooper and Jax were just babies that were not walking yet so Shelley and I just walked and talked and took a few pictures of 2 boys that had to just sit there because they could not get up and go. And then we enjoyed a great quiet tea sandwich lunch at the restaurant there. Oh how things have changed since then. Now we go and we have 4 kids to round up and they all walk and run and never want to stay with us and lunch is now on a blanket in the grass where the kids can run and play while we beg them to sit and eat. Wow time goes by so fast.

Big Pumpkin Patch

Nana and Papa came up this past weekend to see the kids and watch Cooper not play his blastball game (that is a blog all to its self) so I thought it would be fun to take them to a pumpkin patch to do something with the kids. Trey never gets to go to the patches either because we go during the week so it was good that we all went this year. Here are some pics of our afternoon.

Last week we went back to the Arboretum with our friends Melissa and Addy. They have a year pass so we got to go with them and get in for free. Yeah for that!! Off we went for some corney dogs and funnel cake oh and whatever else we could get that was fried. the state fair was fun again this year. the kids got to see and feed a lot of animals and then we went to the car show and ate a lot of stuff in between there and then off to ride a few rides. Trey and Cooper did the log ride and then trey and jacob were crazy and did a ride that went upside down and was spinning. And so that Ryleigh could ride something we did the carousel. Wow it has been a long time since I have blogged and a lot has been going on, so let the blogging begin. Back on October 1st UMHB had their homecoming and we have made it a tradition to attend every year so we went this year. The Cru won of course and we had a great time watching some good football.

Sun and Surf 2011

What a great family vacation. This year we went to Clearwater Beach Florida for 5 days and then spent 2 days in orlando at Disney World. We could have not asked for a better time. The beach was wonderful. It was like we had the whole beach to our selves. The kids liked playing in the sand. Cooper would go in the water but Ryleigh was scared of the ocean. We kind of expected that because when Cooper was her age he was scared of the ocean too. Everyday we would go down to play for a while on the beach and then after the kids were tired of that we would head to the great kiddie pool they had. It was very layed back. We did go do a couple of things. As you can see in the pictures below we went on a pirate cruise that was very kid friendly. Trey got picked to be a pirate named peg leg pete and he was coming to steal the treasure so the kids had to shoot him. It was pretty funny. We all had a good time on the cruise. Another little outing we did was we went and saw the famous dolphin Winter at the local aquarium. She is the dolphin that stars in the up coming movie Dolphin Tale. She has no tale due to get caught in a crab trap so they have made her a tale. Pretty neat that they could do that. Mickeys House 2011

The second part of our trip we went to Disney World and spent 2 days there. The first day there we played around at the resort which had a awesome pool area and then went and walked around the boardwalk. The next day we got up really really early and went and ate breakfast with Mickey and pals. We had so much fun watching Cooper get so excited to see them all. Ryleigh on the other hand well she loved all of them except Goofey she just screamed the whole time he was at our table and then when he left she was so scared that she would not even eat anymore and if you know her that is a big deal. She finally got comfortable again and ate some more. After breakfast we headed out for our adventure to the magic kingdom. We rode as many rides as we could fit in. Cooper rode everything he could. He loved the big thunder railroad that is a big rollercoaster. He rode it with Trey first and then he took me to go ride it and told me that it is not scarey it just goes really fast and then slows down and goes really fast again. He then told me Momma dont worry. Ha ha. I think Ryelighs favorite ride was the flying carpets. She screamed every time when it was time to get off.
The kids were so exhausted that Ryleigh went to sleep in the stroller for like 2 hours and then Cooper went to sleep for like 45 minutes. It was a busy day. When ended the day with the awsome light parade and the fireworks. Both kids loved watching them. When we got back to the resort they went straight to bed and did not make a peep until the morning. The next day vacation was over and we headed home.

Since we have finally caught a break from the 100+ degree temps, Shelley and I decided a trip to the zoo would be fun. We had such a good time. We looked at all the animals and then had a picnic lunch and then off to the water to play some. It was nice to be able to be outside again.

Cooper started another year of mothers day out. He has been asking about going all summer. When I dropped him off he was a little hesitant, but then saw all the kids playing and went right on in. sea world 2011

We got to take a trip down to sea world for a little get away. Trey was in chicago so the kids and i went with my mom, alicia, and my aunt. We all had a great time. The first day at the park we went to all of the shows and rode some of the rides. It was hot but not to bad, and there was no crowd which was such a plus. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Cooper rode this roller coaster with everyone. He loved it.

We got to go eat lunch with shamu and the other whales. The food was really good and getting to be that close to the whales was a neat experience

Ryleigh was so excited at the shows. she would point and talk away about the animals and then she would clap. it was fun to watch her excitment

14 months

Here is a picture of Ryleigh when she was 14 months old. She has developed such a little personality and a little bit of an attitude/divatude to go with it. haha. She talks all the time. most of the time you can not understand it but she does say quit a bit of words. she likes to play peek a boo and blow kisses. she also loves to climb on everything and we have the bruises to prove it. she is still my good little eater, never turning down a meal. she finally gave up the bottles about a month ago but she is still a thumb sucker. i wish she would stop growing up so fast.

When I start cleaning the house the kids always want to help. I usually just give them a wet rag and they go around with that. Today Cooper wanted to vacuum the rug so I let him and I went and got the sweeper to do the wood and Ryleigh wanted that so I kicked back and watched them do my hard work. ha ha. Hopefully they will always want to do stuff like this haha.

The kids, my mom and I went to the aquarium at fair park one day since she had the day off. It was a small aquarium but the kids liked it and they could walk around with out being in the stroller. Then at the end of the visit we went outside and got to touch the sting rays. They were so friendly, you can tell they get feed a lot. Ryleigh was all about touching them, Cooper on the other hand would not do it. I was suprised I thought he would be all about it. Oh well maybe next time.

Tubing

Thanks to Trey's parents we have got to enjoy some boating this summer. They are letting us use their boat for a little while and we have really been enjoying going out on it. Cooper loves to to and drive the boat around and then we got him out on the tube and he loves it. Ryleigh on the other hand does not like it to much. Really cant blame her, she is stuck on the boat in a big life jacket that she can hardly walk in and it is hot. She is a trooper and hangs in there for a little while. Just goes to show that us buying a boat will need to wait another year or so so that she can have fun too.

We headed down to Treys parents house for July 4th like we do every year to enjoy some family time and some sun and some boating. Well we got to do the first 2 but the boating thing did not get to happen. Oh well maybe next year. LOL. The kids had a lot of fun swimming at nana and papas and riding the golf cart around. Cooper also got to go out and play golf with trey on a couple of holes. Which he always loves doing. Here are some pictures of everyone having fun in the pool

Season Ends

Our blastball season is over. But dont worry we are doing it again in the fall. Trey just thought he was only coaching for one season but it seems that Cooper enjoyed it enough to do it again. And the other boys wanted to do it too. So starting in the fall we will be back out at the ball fields. We had a team party to end the season at amazing jakes and had a great time hanging with all the little boys and their families. They all got trophies which they were so proud of. Till next season

Fathers Day 2011

Here are some pictures of Trey and the kids on his special day. Cooper was so fun to take shopping for his daddy this year. We went to go get him some golf stuff and Cooper wanted to buy him everything in the store. So I convinced him to just get some golf balls and a new club and he was good with that until we went to check out and then he just had to get his daddy some big chew bubble gum. Then in the car he said I can not wait until daddy gets his stuff. More because he wanted his daddy to share the big chew. So funny.

Another one turns 1

Our baby girl turned 1. Wow that was a fast year. We had a great party with family and friends. Ryleigh has both her top and her bottom 2 teeth and has 2 more top ones coming in. She is starting to climb on things. She has a slow little jog. She talks in her own language all the time. Her new additional words so far are ball and up. She does everything her brother does. such as spitting (wonderful), making noises with her mouth, and screaming for the fun of it. She always wants to be outside. She is loving getting to go swimming. She has such a little personality. Can't wait to see what this year will bring. She is such a blessing to our family. Oh ya and she weighs in at 18lbs 12 oz which is the 10th% and her height is 30 inches being in the 90th%. Here are some pics of her birthday.

This picture is the gift my mom gave Ryleigh. It is my old cradle that she made me when I was little and I played with for a long time. I love it that my daughter gets to enjoy it like I did. Maybe it will be passed down again and again.

PBA night at the ballpark

On June 10 Cooper's blastball team got recognized at the Rough Riders game along with all of the Plano Baseball Assoc. So we made a family night out of it. No only did Cooper get to go down on the field, Ryleigh got picked to race in the diaper derby. She was not quit sure about it at first but then at the end she took off. Here are some pics

This past monday we went to the Dallas zoo with the jacksons. It was going to be the hottest day of the year so far and we were the crazy people that went out in it. lol. we got there right when it opened and there is a lot of trees and shade so it was not to bad until after 12 and then it was hot so we called it a day. Here are some cute pictures of the day. they have a new addition to the zoo there and you get to feed the giraffes. The kids loved it. it was pretty neat. then after we saw some animals we headed to go let the kids play in the water streams there. they had so much fun.

Memorial weekend

Busy fun weekend. First we went to Jax birthday party and had a fun time celebrating with him and his family. Then the unfun part I had to go to work that night yuck. On sunday we just hung around the house. Monday we headed over to alicia's house for some swimming and grilling. we had a great time and the kids had a blast in the pool even though they were purple most of the day because it was still a litlle chilly they never wanted to get out. well really just Cooper wanted to keep swimming. Ryleigh was not a big fan of the cold water.

The kids and I were in midlothian this past week for my cousins wedding and stayed the night at my moms, so the next day we met up with Shelley and the boys for some summer like fun. Cooper and Jax had a blast in the fountains. It was so fun to watch them. Ryleigh wanted in the mix so bad but I had forgot to bring her a change of clothes so she just had to watch. poor thing, maybe next time.

The Minors

A night at the ballpark. Not the rangers this time, we decided to go watch the rough riders because Hamilton and Cruz were playing for their rehab assignments there. We sat on the lawn this time and that was a great decision because the kids could run around and play. It was a perfect night to be at a game. Aunt Alicia came with us and the kids loved that.

Moms Day

What a great day. We started off the morning with Ryleighs baby dedication at church. There is no other better way to spend Mother's Day than having a dedication of your child. Then we went to a great brunch and then off to the Rangers game to spend the afternoon with my mom. Being a mom is such a wonderful gift. Even though it can be very hard at times, the love you share with your children is the best thing in the world. Thanks to my sweet husband and sweet babies for making this day so memoriable.

Blastball Begins

Cooper started blastball this weekend. We all got to go out and cheer him on. It was so cute to see those little 3 year olds out there. There was baseball playing but there was also dirt throwing, twirling, crying, and well just 3 year olds being 3 year olds.

Vegas Again

Trey had a conference to go to in Vegas this past week so I decided what a great opp for some R and R. So thanks to nana and meme for keeping the kids i was able to get away too for a couple of days. It was nice and relaxing until I came home and had to be a single mom until Trey came home a couple of days later. I dont know how moms do it by themselves. That was tough.

Easter part 1

For Easter this year we headed out of town to spend it with Trey's family, We went to Georgetown first for a night and then the plan was to go to the farm and spend the night out there on Trey's parents RV. Well when the RV decided to have some electrical problems we then had a quick change of plans. So we just went down for the day on friday and then drove back and then went back on saturday and from there we went home. Here are some pictures from Trey's parents neighborhood egg hunt that was a last minute decision to go to but the kids had fun. It was great to see all of Trey's family.

Spring Fling at the Arboretum

On April 18, my mom had the day off so we headed to the arboretum for some fun in the sun. we had a great time, but i was bummed we missed the beautiful tulips this year.

Swimming

A couple of weeks ago Cooper started swimming lessons again. I am determined that he will learn to swim before Aunt Alicia's pool is up and going so we dont have to carry him around this year. Since we will be doing that with Ryleigh. He is doing well so far.

At 9 months and 3 weeks old Ryleigh started walking, It did not take her long to get it down like in a couple of days time she was walking across the room. Let the bumps and bruises begin.

Ryleigh over the past couple of days has started giving kisses. it is the sweetest thing tonight Trey said Ryleigh give kiss and held up her doll and she kissed her

Cooper had his 3 year appt yesterday and he is 32lbs which is 50th percent and 38.5inches being in the 90th percent. He checked out healthy and did not have to have any shots. He was happy about that. Cooper is developing well. We need to work on some letters but pedi said the ones he is having problems with are normal and it will work itself out. I think I need to get the flash cards back out. Cooper has developed into this little man. He can do so many things by himself now. He needs me less and less. That is so sad but so nice all at the same time. He does tho throw some nice fits. 3's shoudl be fun.

9 Months and counting

Ryleigh turned 9 months on March 11. She is a moving. She is always pulling her self up. And now she is getting brave enough to let go and stand by herself for a few seconds. With all this bravery comes battle scares. She has had cuts and bruises all over her. As much as I try to prevent it, it still happens. She says ma ma, da da, bubu, and hi. She just started to clap her hands and she loves to dance. She still loves to play with Cooper's trucks and cars. This past month I notcied that she has learned from watching him how to push around the trucks. She wants to walk so bad. She loves to hold on to your finger and get going. She has taken a liking to the dogs. I dont think they are to happy about that. She lights up when they come around. She is having seperation anxiety. She used to be ok when we dropped her off at the nursery at church and lately she is not so happy about that. Also my good little sleeper has been waking up every night at around 1 or 2 just to make sure we are still around. I will have some 9 month pictures to post in a couple of days. We went to her doctors appt and she is now 16lbs 12oz which she has dropped to the 10th percent. I was pretty worried about that but my pedi said it was ok and then I came home and looked up what Cooper was at this age and he dropped to the 10th percent too at this time. Her height is 28.3 inches. 90th percent for that. Following her brothers foot steps. She checked out all healthy and only had to get one shot. Yeah. That is my little girl all wrapped up in a shell for now.

For Cooper's Birthday party this year we had a carnival in the back yard. We had some carnival games and for Cooper's birthday present from us he got a playscape. Cooper loved having his friends over to play. The party went great. Here are some pictures of the day

Big Number 3

March 10 2011, my sweet baby boy turned 3. We had such a great day celebrating his big day. It was perfect weather for our trip to the ft worth zoo. We had a fun time and loved seeing all the animals. Ryleigh liked being there it was her first time. Then after the zoo we went and ate a Joe Ts. Funny thing Cooper said that is blog worthy. Cooper is afraid of the gorillas. We cannot get close to them when we go to the zoo. In the car on the way home from the zoo Ryleigh woke up from sleeping and started crying. Cooper looked at her with all seriousness and told her "its ok Ryleigh dont be scared Im not a monkey Im Cooper." He kept saying it over to her trying to calm her down. He is so funny. I forgot to mention this in my houston post. When we were down there Ryleigh decided to finally say Ma Ma. I love to hear her say it.

Table Food

Ryleigh has just taken off with table food. I had no intention of starting them this early but she told me in her own way that she was ready. So we did as she wanted and started introducing things. So far she loves, avocados, bananas, cheerios, puffs, asparagus, corn, green beans, rice, mandarin oranges, mac and cheese, and as you can see in the picture some spaghetti.

Off to Houston

the weekend of Feb 18th we headed down to Houston to go see Trey's grandmother and one of my best friends Kristi. We had such a great time. On friday we just let the kids relax and we just went to eat. Then saturday we woke up and headed over to Trey's grandmothers place and hung out with her for a while. Then Trey's uncle Jeff came over and we headed to lunch. After we lunch Uncle Jeff took us to the firestation so that Cooper could see the firetrucks. Cooper loved them. At first he was a little scared of them but he warmed up quickly and then was all about them. That night we headed back to Kristi's house and then went downt o Kemah to eat and play at the boardwalk. It was so crowded that Cooper only got to ride 2 rides. then Sunday we headed back. the kids did pretty good on the drive. our 4 hour drive turned into a 5 1/2 hour drive because of all the stops.

that is what Cooper has. i feel so sorry for him. he has had this dry cough since September and we had taken him to the pedi and it was a long course of antibiotics and nothing to fix the cough. so last month i decided i was going to take him to see a pulmonologist. they put him on some allergy meds and we were all hoping that would cure him. he did get better and then right before we were suppose to leave for vegas cooper started coughing again. but this time worse. and he was wheezing. so back to the pulm we go and this time the doctor said he has reactive airway disease. we are still hoping this is just a seasonal thing. he has been doing really good for the past couple of weeks. and we were able to wean off a bunch of his meds. i pray that this is just a temporary thing.

Vegas

We took a little get away to Vegas this past weekend with my sisters and their husbands. We had a great time. we came back exhausted but still it was a blast. We did a little gambling, watched some shows, and just walked around the strip. Trey and I actually did ok on the trip. Did not come back millionaires so we both have to go back to work. what a bummer. enjoy the pictures.

Snow Storm Again

On February 1st, we had another winter storm come through. It was a very bad weather week. We got lots of ice and freezing temps and then got some snow on Feb 4. It made for a hard week with the kids because we were all trapped in the house for 4 days. Here are a couple of pictures of Cooper with the snow.

Yesterday January 27, Ryleigh decided to start crawling. I am so glad I was home and got to see it happen. I guess it is really time now to put the little toys away and make sure the house is still baby proof. I cannot believe she is on the go. I just want her to stay a baby.

7 months old

Ryleigh turned 7 months old on January 11, 2011. She is so fun at this age. We are waiting for her to take off and start crawling still. We thought this would happen a couple of weeks ago and she never did. She is just army crawling around the house. She likes to get on the wood floor and scoot around. She does not like to be left in a room alone. she is now sleeping in her crib in her room. Thanks to Trey for getting that going. She did good, only took like 2 nights. She is still going to sleep at 730 and sleeping until 7 in the morning. those 2 bottom teeth are all the way in now. no more are coming yet. she is loving baby food except for peas and green beans. she loves yogurt and fruit. she hand signs to us or really me when she wants to eat. i dont know where she learned that from but it works. i think that is all for now. here are some cute pics of here at 7 months.

on January 9, 2011 we had our first snow of the year. Cooper just loves it when it snows. So he went out and played in it and built a good little snowman. This was Ryleighs first time to see snow. It will be so fun someday to take the kids to play in the snow and ski. here are some pics

Is my 2 front teeth...... That is what Ryleigh ended up getting this year. On the 27th of december she got her first tooth on the front bottom left. Then the next day she got her 2nd tooth on the right. She has been cranky lately and so we knew they were coming and finally they are here.

On December 20th we took our annual trip to the gaylord hotel to see Santa and to look at all the decorations and we took he kids to see ICE. It was fun and a beating all at the same time. I was so affraid Ryleigh was going to be cold I think I made her to hot and she was hungry so she cried the whole time and it was crowded so keeping up with Cooper was a task. but all in all it was neat to see it.

Santa's Village

On December 19, 2010 after we had christmas with nana and papa we took Cooper and Ryleigh to Santa's Village in Richardson. It was so crowded that we did not get to go through all the houses and it was very cold. Ryleigh had to stay bundled up so there are no pictures of her. Cooper got really excited when Santa came riding in on a fire truck. So fun.
