Ok so some Cooper pics and update. Some things that Cooper does now or has been doing that are so cute are: we taught him how to blow kisses but he just puts his hand to his mouth and leaves it there. he loves to dance. if you turn on some music he starts to bounce his legs we cant wait to get him on the dance floor at Sara's wedding this coming weekend. he is such an independent little man. he wants to do everything by his self. he has been letting me sleep in the mornings after working all night and he is actually being really good and not getting into stuff. thank goodness for the disney channel. i was so determined not to just let him sit in front of the tv but i have been sooooo tired lately from working full time hours that it is just what i have to do to make it thru the day. cooper can point out his body parts and your body parts.. he has been doing this for a long time now. we quit gymboree this month. it was kind of sad on our last day. Cooper really loves to go but they moved locations and i got tired of driving that far. Cooper starts mothers day out on sept 1st. at first i was not sure if i was going to be able to go thru with it but lately i have been so ready to have a day to myself to sleep, clean, or run errands. oh who am i kidding i will be sleeping that day. i have lots of sleep to make up.

we have been having a horrible time with cooper and eating. he used to be such a good eater and eat whatever i made for him. not these days now he has decided that he is going to throw his food and just refuse to eat. how long does this stage last? i cant think of anything else fun that cooper has started to do lately. we are still working hard on our talking. here are some cute pics taken over the past couple of weeks. sorry for the ramblings thoughts that is just how its going to be this post.

I am not sure if I posted about Cooper's bad haircut that he got not to long ago but we took him to get his haircut with Trey and the guy messed up the back of Cooper's hair bad. So I have been praying and waiting for his hair to grow back before Sara's wedding (he is the ring bearer)

Well it has grown out and so I took him back to cool cuts for kids and got his new hair cut. It turned out sooooo good. We got that baby hair that was on top of his head cut off so no more baby hair. sad i know but i love the new look

Several Things to Blog about

We had Sara's Bachelorette party last weekend and had fun celebrating with her. We went to Austin for the weekend and stayed out at the lake. We also went and floated down the river. We had a lot of fun hanging out together just the girls. Here are some pics

Then this past week Trey was out doing the yard and found a big frog. Well not to big but bigger than what we usually find. So Trey got Cooper to come out to see it and play with it. BOYS!!! Cooper did not know what to think about it. He did not want to touch it and the frog kept jumping out of Treys hands and at Cooper and he would jump back it was so funny.

CIRCUS

Today we went to the circus. It was Coopers first time to go. I have great memories of going to the circus when I was little and so we started the tradition with Cooper. He had such a blast. He did sooo good, I was really impressed. I think his favorite part was the little ponies. He was eating his goldfish at the time and really wanted to feed them his fish. It was the cutest thing. He was mesmerized by the lights and colors. We will for sure be back next year.

Pa oh how I will miss you

This morning I got the phone call that no one ever wants to receive. My mom called while I was finishing up work and told me that my grandpa (Pa) had gone to heaven. I still can not believe that he is gone. I just keep thinking about how I will never go to their house and see him sitting in that chair smoking his pipe. There are so many memories that keep running thru my head about him. I do know that every time I smell the scent of a pipe I will always think of him. He was always making jokes but could be very serious very quickly, like when we (the grandchildren) got in trouble. My grandpa leaves behind my beautiful grandmother Ma and his 6 children and his 12 grandchildren and his 4 great grandchildren. We all loved him so very much and will miss him everyday that he is not here with us. I know that he is in a wonderful place and has peace and that helps with the pain of him being gone. We will see him again someday and will rejoice in that. Please be in prayer for my family and I. See you later Pa I Love You very much.

Rash and July 4th

Cooper's Roseola Rash

Last week was a very hard week at our house but ended with some great fun with family and friends. Last week Cooper got sick again. He developed another high fever and was just miserable. The fever lastes for 3 days and the pedi said that he just had something viral and it had to run its coarse. Cooper finally broke the fever on Tuesday night and I thought oh good we are done. No, that was not the case. On Wednesday morning Cooper developed a rash all over his body. I think that he is trying to get all the viral rashes out of the way one month after another. I am pretty sure he had Roseola. I dont know where he gets this stuff, he stays at home with me. The only thing I can think of is from his gymboree class. Uh dont parents know that if your kids are sick do not bring them to class. So since Cooper was contagious we had to cancel our BBQ on July 4th. So we got to the end of the week and my best friend Kristi came up to see us and spend the 4th with us. We had a good time hanging out and shopping. On the 4th we went to see fireworks in Plano. This year Cooper watched the fireworks. It was fun to watch him just stare at them. Then Sunday we went to my parents and had a cookout and let Cooper do some sparklers. That is a summary of our events last week and our holiday. I hope everyone had a great 4th. Here are some pics

Fathers Day 2009

We celebrated Trey's second Father's Day today. We had a great time this weekend. Friday Cooper and I had are last class of swim lessons. YEAH It was fun but I was tired of going to swim every morning. But it was nice to bring Cooper home and him sleep for 3 hours. After swim class we went and met up with Steph and the boys and played at the splash park. Then Trey took a half day and we went and all ran errands. Then Treys family came up and spent the weekend with us.

To Trey, Happy Father's Day!! Thank you for being a great dad. Cooper loves to spend time with his daddy. It is great to watch yall laugh and play together. You are always there for him and I know that he appreciates you being there. We both love you very much.

Action

WE FINISHED!!!! Our project is complete. Trey and I started our weekend project on Friday night and finished Monday night. Not to bad for us. We got his media room all done. Now for those that know me well I do not know how this happened. How is it that that room got completed before any other room in the house. I always said that that room would be the last room done. Well I was wrong. So now Trey is going to have a lot of things to do down stairs to make up for that room getting done first. :) We took some pics but it looks so much better in person than on the pics.
