2 months

Ryleigh is now 2 months old. She is weighing in at 12lbs 7oz which is the 95% and 23.8 inches long which is >97% She checked out great at her doctors appt and then had to get a bunch of shots and was not a very happy camper after that. But Cooper got a sucker and a sticker for her when we left and I know that made her feel all better. Of course he took the sticker and well also ate the sucker. That little turkey he knew what he was doing. LOL. Ryleigh is smiling more and more everyday. She is working hard on her tummy time and is awake a lot more during the day. This past saturday night the 14th of august she slept through the whole night. YEAH. but bad thing we did not get a repeat on sunday night. oh well I will take it. here are a couple of pictures of Cooper and her

This last picture is of Ryleigh before her first swim in Aunt Alicia's pool. She loved it. Alicia was holding her in the pool and walking around bouncing her and she just fell asleep. It was so sweet.

Circus and more

Wow this was one busy weekend. I think I was as worn out as the kids were. We got to go to the circus again this year and had such a good time. Cooper was excited about going and seeing the Tigers and elephants. I was kind of worried about him being scared of the loud noises but he did really well. The first picture is of daddy and son about to leave for the fun night.

Cooper on his way to the circus. I also love this picture because lately Cooper has this thing with the garage and gate opener. He has to be the one to open both. And if you do it he will let you know that he is not happy about that. He will even bring the openers in the house so that when Trey leaves for work he can close the garage and then he watches his daddy through the window and when the car is clear of the gate he closes the gate. He is so funny.

Cute picture of Cooper and Luke at the circus. We love doing things with them.

We went to the late show and Cooper was starting to fall asleep so I told Trey to get him some cotton candy. Well 12 dollars later we got this awesome hat LOL that Cooper would not even wear so Trey wore it.

Cooper and Ryleigh had some visitors this past week. Nana came up during the week to spend time with the kids which also worked out so well since I worked during that time I got to sleep YEAH Thanks Nana. Then Aunt Emmie came up for the weekend. Here is a picture of Cooper and Emmie playing in the tent. She also attempted to take Cooper to play in the fountains. But like always he did not like them.

So Cowboy season has started so any chance of me getting anything else done around the house on weekends is over until feb. We always like to get together with our friends Robert and Steph and their boys to watch the games and let the kids play. So that is what we did for the first game. Here is a couple of really cute pics of the boys after they had been playing hard outside and then needed a much needed snack.

Buddies

A couple of weeks ago we got together with our good friends the Jacksons and hung out and let the boys play. We had such a good time, we really miss getting to do that more often. Cooper and Jax always have such a good time together. They just talk and talk to each other. It is so fun to watch them. Here is a picture of them together while they were deep in conversation.

Growing and Playing

Ryleigh is 6 weeks old and growing like a weed. She has started to cooo this past week. It is so sweet to hear. Her head control gets better and better everyday. She is a very strong girl. We started giving her a bottle before bed so that she can get use to it since I will be going back to work soon. She never likes to be put down and will let you know it. I am pretty sure she is going to be just as head strong as Cooper is. Here is a new picture of her.

Today my mom had the day off so we had planned a day out with the kiddos. We went to the dallas science museum. It has a childrens area and has stations for kids to do things and learn all at the same time. Cooper had a lot of fun and we will for sure go back. We got there when it opened and then we took a break and went and at lunch with aunt sara at baylor. then we were heading back to the museum and well did not get to go back because the little boy was ready for a nap and so he fell asleep so we called it a day.

This video is of Cooper playing golf. He is a good little athlete. He has a pretty good swing. Ask my leg since it got hit by one of his plastic golf balls and left a bruise. He is also getting better and better with is baseball skills. He can hit the ball with it being pitched at him. And well lets just say he has an arm for a 2 year old.

Other things that have gone on the past couple of weeks. We have had playdates with our friends Zach, Ashton, and then with Addison, and then with Luke. We love getting together with them and playing. Then this past weekend Trey had the big V done. Ya that is right we are officially done having kids. It is sad when I think that I will never have another little baby but also a relief all at the same time. She my mom and sara took Cooper to help me out for the day and headed to ft worth to the stockyards. they rode on the train and got to ride in the engine car. and then got to go to the petting zoo and feed the animals. my mom said he had a great time. i will have to post some pics of that day later.

Well that is it for now.

Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July. We had a great 4th this year. We loaded up and headed down to Trey's parents house in Georgetown to celebrate with his family. It was Ryleigh's first road trip and she did great. She slept the whole way. We had plans to swim alot with Cooper and Trey wanted to play golf with him. Well for the first 2 days we were there all it did was rain. So no swimming and no golf and one upset little boy since he could not go outside. Thankfully on Saturday the 3rd it cleared up enough for him to do both. He had such a good time. Then Sunday all the family came over and we hung out and swam and played more golf. Cooper had a blast with his cousin Matt and his girlfriend Nina. He was so funny with Nina, he kept flirting with her. We gave Matt a hard time that Cooper was taking his woman. That night we tried to do some fireworks with Cooper and he just cried and ran inside. He wanted nothing to do with them. Then Sunday night Cooper got sick with some sinus issues and we all had a bad bad night of sleep. Then Monday night we headed home and stopped at Mimi's to get the dogs and have dinner. It was a good holiday weekend.
