Trick or Treat

We had a lot of fun this year with Cooper and trick or treating. We went to a church carnival and Cooper got to play some games and do another petting zoo and some bounce houses. Then the great time change happened and since then our child thinks that his new wake up time is between 5 and 530. just when we got him used to sleeping in until 8. hopefully we can fix this asap. trey and i are getting tired of waking up that early. here are some pics of our train conductor.

Crusader Football

This past weekend we went to our annual Mary Hardin Baylor Football game. We had a lot of fun. Cooper did pretty good. He really got into the game the second half of the game. We won so that made the game even better. So we have some pics of that.

Then on Sunday we all loaded up and went to the Pumpkin Patch farm in Elgin. We road on a hay ride and let Cooper play around in the small amount of pumpkins that were there.

And last night Cooper got to decorate some pumpkins that we made.

Dallas Arboretum

Shelley and I took the boys back again this year to the Dallas Arboretum to see the pumpkins. We had such a good time. We let the boys run around and had a picnic. Shelley and I tried so hard to get some good pictures of the boys but at this age it is near impossible.

Cooper in the hay maze

They had a petting zoo there with some farm animals and so we let the boys go pet them. Cooper was funny all he wanted to do was to keep his hand on a goat at all times. I was so happy that he was not scared of the animals.

7 Year Anniversary and Vegas

Trey and I and our friends Chris and Jessica went to Vegas for a little get away without the boys. We had such a good time. We did not come back rich but we did come back with some great memories.

Trey and I also celebrated our 7 year anniversary while we were in Vegas. It has been such a great 7 years. I am married to a wonderful man and love every day that I have with him.

Balloons

I did not realize how long it had been since I last posted a blog. So let me get caught up. So back in September, my best friend and her little boy came up and we went to a consignment sale. I was disappointed. I have now been to 2 of those things and have not gotten anything. So no more for me. But we had a good time anyways, and then we went to the mall to let the boys play together for a while. Here are some pics of Jax and Cooper.

Then that weekend Sept 19th was the Plano Balloon Festival. We went out there saturday evening to watch the balloons. Cooper was already tired so we did not get to stay that long but we did get to see a couple of balloons take off.

Mothers Day Out

Cooper did great at Mothers Day Out this past Tuesday. I dropped him off and he was a little resistant but once he saw a toy he was gone. no crying at all YEAH!!! He was worn out when I went to pick him up. here are some pics of him that day

Wednesday we went and met up with Coopers little friend Addison at pump it up and played. Cooper loved it. they had slides and he just went up and down up and down.

Then on Thursday we went to Canton with two of my friends from work and Cooper was so well behaved. I was really worried because he usually does not want to just sit in his stroller. But he did and was so good. Then we came home and got cleaned up and took Cooper to his first RoughRiders game. We only got to stay 3 innings because a bad storm blew in and so we left. It was ok because Cooper was getting so tired. He did like watching the game tho. Cooper and his daddy watch the Rangers game together all the time at home and it is like he only time that he will sit still for a bit. So here are pics of that. Have a great weekend.

My little Ring Bearer

Last weekend August 22nd my little sister tied the knot. Her wedding was absolutely beautiful and she was such a beautiful bride. We are so happy to have Jacob in that family. So we had a very busy week before the wedding of getting things done. Cooper was such a trooper during all the events. He was a good little boy during all the decorating. Then Friday night we had the rehearsal and so Cooper got to practice walking down the aisle. Well he wanted nothing to do with the job of the ring bearer. He did not know the flower girl so we had to do some fast getting to know her before the big day. So we had them play a lot together and Cooper warmed up to her quickly. Then on the big day he was all dressed in his tux and ready to walk. My dad told him to take his pillow to me and off he went walking down the aisle with the flower girl. I was so proud of him. Then we went to party at the reception. Cooper loved to dance. We had been working on dance moves for weeks and so when he heard the music he was all over it. We spent the next day recovering from the event.

Cooper has finally started saying more words. YEAH!!!! I knew I was not going to remember all the words he is saying but here are a few. he loves to say ball. He says ouch, yes, thanks, mama, dada, uh oh, eye. I know there are a few others but I can not thank of them right now. I need to start righting this stuff down. Cooper is growing taller everyday. He can now close our doors in the house. We got him a basketball goal a few months ago and he could hardly reach the rim and now he has no problem. It will be fun to see how tall he is at his pedi appt coming up. Cooper has also been blowing lots of kisses. It is so fun to watch him blow kisses to me when I am driving out of the drive way to go to work.

Cooper and I have a lot of fun things going on this week. Tomorrow Cooper has his first day at Mothers Day Out. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I will have some fun pics later this week.

We are also going to Canton this week and I cant wait. I have been wanting to go for months now but have been busy every time. So I am ready to spend some money.

Trey and I booked a trip finally and we are going without Cooper. He is going to stay here with his Nana. It will be a short trip but we are so ready to just get away for a little while.

That is it for now. Have a great day
