2 weeks old

The weeks are going by so fast. Ryleigh is 2 weeks old (June 25th) and is still such a good baby. She is my baby that likes to sleep in but of course that does no good when Cooper wakes up early. She is now having more awake times during the day and still sleeping great at night. I am still having to wake her up to eat in the middle of the night. Cooper is still doing great with her. We had her newborn pics done and i can not wait to see them. She got some really cute shots. We also had her 2 week appt and her new measurements are: weight 8lbs 5oz which she is back to her birth weight and is in the 75%, height is 20.8inches which is 90%, and her head is 14.3inches which is 75%. Everything checked out great with her.










It has been such a hot hot summer so far. We had our first bit of rain so Cooper went out to play in the rain. He had a lot of fun until a big bang of thunder hit and him and the dogs headed inside very quickly.

Today Trey had a doctors appt so I was on my own for nap time today. It was a success. Cooper went down easy and after I fed Ryleigh she was of course asleep so I got some nice quite time at the house.

Fathers Day 2010

Trey just got to celebrate his 3rd fathers day. Every year i have had Cooper make him a card so this year he did the same and then Ryleigh left her hand print on it too. My children are so very lucky to have such a good daddy. Cooper looks up to him so much. Thank you Trey for always being there for your family and for loving us the way you do. Happy Fathers Day!!!

Ryleigh's 1 week old

yesterday Ryleigh turned a week old. here first week of life went by so fast. She is a great baby. she has been going 4 hour stretches at night which has been wonderful. hopefully she will keep it up. she does a lot of sleeping and eating. well really that is about all she does. wow newborns are easier than 2 year olds. lol Cooper has had an ok week. he is doing great with Ryleigh. he still loves to kiss her all the time and wants to hold her with the boppy pillow. but it has been a challenge for naps and trying to get him back on his schedule. we will get there. nothing else has really happened this past week. we are all just trying to adjust. here are a few pics of Ryleigh

Ryleigh is 3 days old today and still just as sweet and beautiful as ever. Last night my mom stayed with me so that Trey could be home with Cooper so that he could get a good nights sleep. The both of them. Then this morning Trey brought him up to see Ryleigh and I ( Cooper is in the best moods in the morning time). When he got to the room he grabbed the boppy pillow and sat on the couch and then started to pat the pillow for us to put Ryleigh on the pillow. We were so excited. We placed Ryleigh in his lap and he started looking her over. Then he loved to just sit there and rub her head. We would tell him that she was getting cold and he would cover her up. Later today he gave her a kiss. What a great moment we shared as a family. Here are some more pics.
