Balloons Fest 2010

My mom and I went to the balloon festival for the 3rd year now with the kids. It was Ryleigh's first time to go. We went on Friday night and because of the weather the balloons did not get to take off but they did air them up and have the balloon glow. That was fun to see. Every year we have gone we have left before that happens. Here are a couple of pics from the night.

Galveston Vaca 2010

My mom, the kids, and I headed out Galveston for a quick little get away this past weekend. We had a really good time and made lots of good memories. We left friday night and headed to houston where we crashed at my friend Kristi's house. we really appreciate her letting us stay at her house. Then saturday we woke up and went to the Johnson Space Center. I think you could stay all day in that place and still not see everything. Cooper's favorite part was the big playground they have inside. He did good though with going and listening to the tour. I was very pleased with both kids. After that we ran over to Trey's grandmothers house to see her. She had just gotten out of the hospital and I wanted the kids to see her. We did not stay long because both kids were very tired and we still had an hour drive to Galveston. So we loaded back up in the car and off we went. After we checked in we went and ate dinner and then called it a night. We were all tired. Sunday we got up and went and took a boat ride to see the harbor and find some dolphins. There were a lot of dolphins and they were jumping and playing. Cooper loved being on the boat. It made me really want to get a boat again so that he can have fun growing up with one like I did. We then went and walked around on an old wooden sailboat called the Elissa. Later that evening we went to Kemah to eat dinner with my friend Kristi and play at the boardwalk. Since we had not been to the beach yet we decided to get up early Monday morning and go to the beach for a little while before we had to go. Cooper loved the beach. well really the sand. last year when we went to destin he wanted nothing to do with the sand or the ocean. He ran all up and down the beach and threw some sand around, dug some holes and then ran into the water and back out. Ryleigh did really well too. She liked putting her little toes in the wet sand. It was a great trip. Thanks Mimi for going with us. Here are a lot of pics.

First 2 pictures are at Kemah on a little train ride we did. Cooper loves trains and had some much fun riding it.

This picture is of how me and the kids took a nap one day. can you say worn out.

Official Roll

Ryleigh officially rolled over today. I had her on her back and she flipped right over to her tummy. She is so physically active already. I will have to try and catch it on video next time.

First day of Mothers Day Out 2010

Cooper started another year of Mothers Day Out at FBC Wylie. He did great on his first day. He always gets so excited about going to church and so I told him he was going to school at church he was all ready for it. When I dropped him off he gave me a kiss and then said bye and walked right on in. He is such a big boy. Here are some pictures of his first day.

Gameroom Done

Trey and I have been working on our gameroom for the past couple of weeks trying to get it all decorated. It has only been 2 years of empty walls and empty room. So we did a little painting and hung up some of Treys sports stuff that he has had in boxes. It turned out really great. Now we just need to get some chairs for up there and finish it off with some window treatments. So wait I guess it is really not done. lol.
