Texas Tradition

Bluebonnets, Bluebonnets, and cookies. We took the kids out a couple of days ago to get our annual pics done. Cooper did so good, he smiled and said cheese the whole time. Ryleigh on the other hand was a mess. She is cutting her 2 year molars and has just been so upset for the past several days. So we had to brib her with cookies that thank goodness Trey brought. So we got a few good ones.

Aaaarrrrgghhhh!!!!

Cooper's birthday party this year was a pirate theme. I decided this year that I was going to have it some where besides the house, so I asked Cooper where he would like it and the bounce house place won. From the time we decided to do it there he would not stop talking about his party. We had a great turn out of his friends and he had such a great time playing. He said it was the best birthday party.

Cooper has grown up and gotten so independent this past year. Even though several times were a struggle we survived. haha. The sad thing is as each year goes by he needs me to do less and less for him. My sweet baby boy thinks he is a big boy all the time. He does tell me tho that he will always be my baby boy. he will love reading that one day. :)

Before he work up for the day we had lots of balloons in the living room with a sprinkle donut waiting for him.

4 years and counting

Cooper turned 4 on March 10, 2012. I can not believe it has been 4 years already. We have in the past gone to the zoo for his birthday, but this year it was suppose to be raining so we decided to go down the the dallas museum and have some family time. The kids had a great time playing and discovering.

Spring in Bloom

Spring is here which means it was time for a trip to the Arboretum. We meet my mom there and went around and saw all the beautiful flowers and then a fun picnic. It was a great day.
