all kinds of things

We have been really busy but I could not tell you with what really. I have not even been working that much and I still feel worn out from everything. Trey and I started working out like 3 weeks ago and I am glad to say I am under my pre pregnancy weight. Yeah. Trey has been loosing weight too. Then we have had busy weekends with a bunch of parties. I think everyone was born around this time of year. And then we also decided to finally decorate the upstairs gameroom to get it ready for some football parties. It has been a challenge with 2 kids. But it is coming together we are almost done just waiting on some things we ordered online. I will post pics later when complete. Here are just some random pictures I have taken over the past couple of weeks.

Shelley, Jax and Jake came up to play with us one day and I got a pic of the 2 boys. So Cooper has got to work on sharing this is a big problem when you have playdates and your child does not share his toys. Oh when are the 2's going to end.

Cooper woke up from a nap one day and this is what the hair fairy left him. It was so funny

Trey and Cooper had a daddy son outing this week to the Rangers game with our friends Chris and Luke. Cooper had so much fun and was so worn out that he slept till 9 the next day.

Miss Ryleigh has been doing good. She is still sleeping good at night. She has her nights of up every 3 hours but most of the time she sleeps from 930 till 330. She is smiling a lot but of course I never have a camera ready and she loves to talk to Cooper. She will talk to him the most and she loves to watch him play and jump around. Here are some pics of her at 2 1/2 months old.

I was trying to make her smile so I could get a picture but this is the best I could get.

Funny Boy

Cooper has been cracking me up lately with things and I keep trying to remember them all so that one day I can tell him about them so I figured what a better way then to just post it on here. He has started to do imaginary play which is so fun to just watch him. One thing he does is he will ask like his stuff animal a question and then pause and then answer for them. He also does this to Ryleigh. He also has ben getting on his train he rides around and will come up to me and ask me about going to the store to get donuts and milk and so I will add a couple more things for him to pick up at the store and off he goes.
Lately he has this thing with the garage and gate opener. He has to be the one to open both. So whenever we pull out of the garage he demands the opener to both and he takes care of it. Then the same for when we come home. The past couple of days we have been down to one garage controller so when Trey comes home Cooper is his personal door man. So funny. And let me tell you if you dont let him open them he will have an absolute meltdown. Oh the simple things that make them so happy.

Funny story. Tonight we were doing Coopers ABC flashcards and we were going over the letters and the pictures that go with that letter and we came up on the card for K and the picture is a king and he pointed to it and said daddy. So we all laughed and then when we got to the letter Q it is a queen and he said momma queen. I taught him right. lol. He makes us laugh everyday with his funny comments.
That is all the stories I can think of right now. enjoy

2 months

Ryleigh is now 2 months old. She is weighing in at 12lbs 7oz which is the 95% and 23.8 inches long which is >97% She checked out great at her doctors appt and then had to get a bunch of shots and was not a very happy camper after that. But Cooper got a sucker and a sticker for her when we left and I know that made her feel all better. Of course he took the sticker and well also ate the sucker. That little turkey he knew what he was doing. LOL. Ryleigh is smiling more and more everyday. She is working hard on her tummy time and is awake a lot more during the day. This past saturday night the 14th of august she slept through the whole night. YEAH. but bad thing we did not get a repeat on sunday night. oh well I will take it. here are a couple of pictures of Cooper and her

This last picture is of Ryleigh before her first swim in Aunt Alicia's pool. She loved it. Alicia was holding her in the pool and walking around bouncing her and she just fell asleep. It was so sweet.

Circus and more

Wow this was one busy weekend. I think I was as worn out as the kids were. We got to go to the circus again this year and had such a good time. Cooper was excited about going and seeing the Tigers and elephants. I was kind of worried about him being scared of the loud noises but he did really well. The first picture is of daddy and son about to leave for the fun night.

Cooper on his way to the circus. I also love this picture because lately Cooper has this thing with the garage and gate opener. He has to be the one to open both. And if you do it he will let you know that he is not happy about that. He will even bring the openers in the house so that when Trey leaves for work he can close the garage and then he watches his daddy through the window and when the car is clear of the gate he closes the gate. He is so funny.

Cute picture of Cooper and Luke at the circus. We love doing things with them.

We went to the late show and Cooper was starting to fall asleep so I told Trey to get him some cotton candy. Well 12 dollars later we got this awesome hat LOL that Cooper would not even wear so Trey wore it.

Cooper and Ryleigh had some visitors this past week. Nana came up during the week to spend time with the kids which also worked out so well since I worked during that time I got to sleep YEAH Thanks Nana. Then Aunt Emmie came up for the weekend. Here is a picture of Cooper and Emmie playing in the tent. She also attempted to take Cooper to play in the fountains. But like always he did not like them.

So Cowboy season has started so any chance of me getting anything else done around the house on weekends is over until feb. We always like to get together with our friends Robert and Steph and their boys to watch the games and let the kids play. So that is what we did for the first game. Here is a couple of really cute pics of the boys after they had been playing hard outside and then needed a much needed snack.

Buddies

A couple of weeks ago we got together with our good friends the Jacksons and hung out and let the boys play. We had such a good time, we really miss getting to do that more often. Cooper and Jax always have such a good time together. They just talk and talk to each other. It is so fun to watch them. Here is a picture of them together while they were deep in conversation.
