A day with his Aunt

Yesterday Aunt Sara came and spent the day with us. So we loaded up and headed to see some animals at the dallas zoo. We had a great time together and wish that we could do it more often. Cooper had a lot of fun with his aunt sara.

So another day down of working on the nursery. Not only am I having to do the work around a 2 year old but the way that I have to do the design I can only do a phase at a time and then have to let it dry. This is going to take all week. Good thing I have had the whole week off.

Tonight Trey was bathing Cooper and I got called in to the bathroom to see all his bubbles and so I had to take a picture. Well I took a lot of pics but here is one.

Projects

Trey and I have been working on a lot of projects around the house lately trying to get things done before we have 2 children. A couple of weekends ago my mom came up and my sister came over and we had a weekend of curtain making. They took alot longer than I thought they would but I finally finished them and here is the finished product. Then Trey and I decided to add a little color to the dinning room so we did an accent wall.

This past weekend we started on Ryleigh's room. The colors are going to be green and pink. I picked out the fabric for Kristi to make her bedding so we were off to pick out the paint to match. We got the base paint done and then started to work on the argyle design.

This is a picture of the diamonds all sketched out. Phase 2 of the process.

On April 12 I had my 30 week doctors appt and we got to see our little girl on sono again. Everything is still going well with the pregnancy and she is growing and looking great. They estimated her weight to be 3 pounds 9 ounces. That is a pretty good size for 30 weeks.
Here are 2 pics of her
A picture of her profile and then the bottom one is her feet that kick me all the time.
Today I am 32 weeks or 8 months. I went to the doctor again today just for a checkup and things are still looking good. blood pressure it good baby sounded good and weight gain well lets no discuss that.LOL

A NAME

We have finally decided on a name for our little girl. drum roll please. It is Ryleigh Ann Watts.
We also have scheduled her birthday. She will make her grand appereance on June 11, 2010 at 1200pm. It is coming so fast. We need to get things ready. I am still feeling great, just having trouble sleeping already and it is just going to get worse. Cooper is so very cute, we have been telling him his sisters name and when you ask him to say it he says Ya Ya. So I guess that is her nickname. I start going to the doctor every 2 weeks now and next time we get a sono so I will post some pics of her.

Easter 2010

For Easter this year we loaded up and headed down to Trey's family farm near Caldwell. We had a really good time seeing the family and just enjoying the peace and quit of the country. Cooper loved it out there. He was outside from the time he woke up to the time he went to bed. His daddy was the same way. Trey took Cooper fishing, dont worry there was no hook on Coop's fishing pole. Cooper also went and rode the 4 wheeler with his daddy.

Spring Time

The first day of Spring 2010 and this is what we get in Texas. We got about 6 inches of snow on March 20th. The last time we got a lot of snow Cooper was sick so he did not get to go play in it. He had so much fun playing in the snow with his daddy. He would have stayed out there all day.

The snow went away after a day and then the beautiful spring texas weather that we all love and know came. On March 29th we headed out to the Arboretum to enjoy the weather. We went with our friends Jessica and Luke and had a great picnic and then let the boys walk and run around looking at all the flowers. We also got their pics done with the live bunnies. It was a great day and the boys were so exhausted afterwards.

From donald duck to mallard duck

Cooper has lately had a thing for ducks. While we were in Florida there were ducks everywhere and he would chase after them. Trey and I were talking one evening while there and said wouldnt it be fun to get Cooper a little baby duck for Easter and then after a while let it go at my grandparents ponds. We just blew it off after that. Then we get home from our trip and that Monday I went to put mail out and something flew out of the flower bed and scared me to death. Well it was a female duck. I was telling my mom about it and she said I bet she has a nest. So we started looking and sure enough we found it with 1 egg in it. She came everyday for 10 days and laid 1 egg a day. Now she is sitting on them until they hatch so she is here all the time. So we think that Cooper prayed for a duck and God sent him what is going to be 10 ducks. We thought it was so funny.
