Picking and Carving

We went and got our pumpkin at the murphy road church again this year.  Cooper picked his out and Ryleigh well lets just say she was to distracted by the water.  And let me just say she left the patch completely wet hair and all.  She wears me out :)  A couple of days later we carved our pumpkins.  Cooper did great this year digging all the stuff out and carving his Hulk pumpkin.  Ryleigh on the other hand did not want to get dirty in the gooey stuff.  She did however helped me put pretty stickers on her Cinderella carriage pumpkin.

Pumpkin Tradition

As most of you know that read our blog every year Shelley and I gather the gang up and head to see the pumpkins at the arboretum.  It was a good time.  The kids were pretty good, except for those few times the little ones wanted to run off.  We got some great pictures.

Plano Balloons 2012

Every September we have made it a tradition to go to the Plano Balloon festival, so we went again this year. This year the balloons actually took off which was so nice to get to see.  Usually it is to windy.  The kids had a good time and so did my mom and I.  Great memories

Another Fall Ball

So baseball is slowly becoming the life of the Watts household.  When we asked Cooper at the end of the summer what he would like to do this fall he said baseball and swimmng.  I asked him if he wanted to try soccer and he said no I just like baseball because it is the funnest (Cooper wording).  So we signed him up for another season.  Trey and a friend of his were going to coach but they were late on the uptake and so Cooper just got assigned a team.  We were much happier with this coach than last seasons.  Coach Frank did a great job with the kids.  We moved Cooper to the Wylie league so that he could play up and play modified Tball.  This is when the kids get 3 coach pitched balls at them and then if they miss those they get to hit off the T.  Cooper learned a lot and got better as the season went on.  It was fun to watch him play this year, like watching a real baseball game almost.  It is amazing how much the littel boys have grown up and how there is not a lot of crying on the field anymore.  Cooper was able to hit several times off Coach Franks pitch and his grounding has improved.  All in all it was a great season.

First Day MDO and Tumbling

I enrolled Ryleigh in MDO this year on Tuesdays. Of course I had to have a picture of her on her first day. It was a little rough for her the first couple of weeks. I suspected it though because she still cries when we drop her off at sunday school. The teachers say she only cries for a little while and then she is off to play. She also naps really well at school which shocked me because Cooper hardly ever slept. I really enjoy my Tuesdays, it is a nice time for me to have some alone time. But I look forward to picking their smiling faces up also.
Another first for Ryleigh this year is Tumbling. I wanted to put her in dance but I was not sure if she was quite ready for that since she is not that great at her listening skills right now. So I decided to do tumbling instead. Well lets just say I was about to drop the class because all she did was cry and sit on the floor and suck her thumb. It was pretty sad, and she did that for 2 classes. Then on the 3 class the teacher finally got her to participate a little. Now she runs around like crazy and has a lot of fun. She has mastered her forward roll :) This is her on the first day in her attire.

First Day Preschool

My little baby boy started preschool this year. Can you believe it? He is attending First Baptist Wylie preschool 2 days a week. This is his picture on the first day of school. I almost cried dropping him off this day because I just drop him off from the car. No walking him in this year. He did great. He got out of the car like it was no big deal. His teacher this year is Mrs Pensky and he just thinks she is great. He is learnin a lot and making lots of friends.

See ya later Aunt Sara and Uncle Jacob

Back in August we had to say see ya later to Aunt Sara and Uncle Jacob. They were off for new adventures in Boston. We had a little going away party for them at Alicia's house. We will be glad to have them back in Texas.
