The stats are in

Cooper had his 2 month checkup on May 14th and we have his updated info. He is.... drum role please.... 12 lbs 4 oz and 23.8 inches long. He is now in the 75th percentile for his weight and still in the 90th for his height. Everything checked out great for him. He had to have his 2 month shots. He did good for getting 4 shots. I think he did better than I would have. I was afraid he was going to be irritable that day from not feeling well from the shots but he did great that day.

Then we took Cooper on his first boat ride. I know yall are probably thinking, are they crazy?Well let me explain. We are trying to sell our boat and we needed to take it out to make sure everything was working correctly. I didn't want Trey out there by himself so we decided to get Cooper a life jacket and we headed out to the lake. It was sunset and the lake was calm. We had a good time and Cooper loved being out there, the lake can be so relaxing. So we got some pics of him and even a video clip of his first trip on the TUBE. ha ha just kidding.

Mothers Day

Mothers day was not just mothers day for me, it was also Cooper's baby dedication which made the day even more memorable. It was our pastors last Sunday at our church as well. We will miss him and his family very much but we know that this is what God has called him to do. Now that I am a mother it makes me appreciate my mom even more than I did before. My mom has done so much for me and my sisters. First and most importantly she raised us to love and know God. She has always made sure that we knew that she loved us. She taught us how to be compassionate and how to be a very hard worker. I just pray that I can raise Cooper as well as she raised us. Thank you Muma for all you have done for me and for the love you have given me. Cooper is so lucky to have you as his grandmother.
Trey and I pray everyday that God will guide us in raising Cooper and we know He will.

On another note, Cooper has adjusted well to me going back to work. Trey and Coop are doing good at night. It't kind of difficult for me to be away from him but I have to remind myself that I am only gone for 12 hours and his precious smiling face will be there waiting on me in the morning. Working at night and then coming home and having to stay up and take care of Cooper has been a challenge. I was so used to just coming home and being able to hit the bed and sleep as long as I wanted to. That does not happen anymore. Cooper has better plans for me when I get home. It is funny because I think back to when I use to talk to friends of mine that I work with and I asked them just how they can work and then go home and take care of their kids. I just thought they were crazy but now i know how they do it. It's as if you get this mom power and it helps you accomplish these special tasks that you would not be able to do without it.

Now the best part, here are a few pics of our little man .

2 MONTHS

Cooper is 2 months old and changing every minute. Well this week is going to be interesting in the Watts household. I am going back to work this week so that means Trey is going to have to do a whole night by himself and then go to work the next day. Trey got to do a trial run this past Saturday of keeping Coop alone for the whole day. My cell phone only rang 2 times but then again it did go dead so he might have tried to call more. When I got home they were both alive and Cooper got all his feedings, so I call that a success. Now Trey was exhausted after that day. He said he just does not know how I do it everyday and get house work done.
Lets see, Cooper is now flashing us that beautiful smile of his and he is cooing at us which we just love. He is also grabbing things and holding on to them, like my hair. He is doing great at holding his head up and moving it all around. He is still doing great at night sleeping like 5 to 6 hours which we love. I don't know how much he weighs, we go for his 2 month appt next week so I will post all his stats after his appt.
So pray for us this week as we make some changes.
This is a video of Cooper cooing. you have to listen closely. he does it twice like in the middle of the video and then at the end.

Cooper LOVES his bath time. He could sit in the tub for hours
