Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009

Cooper, Zoe and Joey

The family on Christmas Eve
We had an amazing Christmas this year. It was so much fun to spend it with family. It was crazy busy but fun all at the same time. Trey's family came up early in the week and spent time with us. We went and looked at Christmas lights which Cooper loved. Ever since Thanksgiving every time we drive through the neighborhood to go some where Cooper sees all the lights on the neighbors houses and just screams with excitement. So we thought that he would enjoy going to this neighborhood in Plano and he did. Then we started our Christmas on Christmas eve. We went and had a great service at our church and then came back home for if Ishould say so myself, an excellent dinner. After that we got to let Cooper finally open some presents. We also got to watch snow fall on Christmas eve. It was a white Christmas in Texas this year.

Then we woke up early Christmas day and Cooper got to see what Santa brought him. He was so tired from the day before that we was not that into it at the time. After that we loaded up and headed down to Midlothian. After we slid down the driveway on the ice off we went for the hour and 15 minute drive. The roads were not to bad but the bridges were. We made it down there in one peace and went straight over to the 14 acres to eat a good breakfast and do our Chinese Christmas that we always do. Second Christmas done. Then off to my parents house for Christmas 3. We got some great stockings and presents from Santa there. Last stop to my grandmothers house. We got there and did the presents and then ate dinner. Cooper had not napped at all that day so we were eating dinner and the kid just fell asleep in my arms. He could not take it anymore. it was so funny.

Like I said we had a wonderful time this year.
Here are some pictures.
These first pictures are of Cooper and his friends Zach and Aston playing in the dog cage. All those toys and this is what makes them happy.

The next pictures are of me, my beautiful sisters and my beautiful mom. Every year around christmas time we plan a girls weekend or night. This year we went out to eat some sushi and then went and watched a movie after a long day of shopping. I cherish our girls get togethers. We always laugh and have a blast together.

Last two pics are of Cooper in front of the tree on Christmas eve.

In other news. Baby watts is doing good. I just went for my 15 week check up today and heart beat sounded great. I am still feeling great. This is a big week to pass since this is the same time that I had my seizure with Cooper. So to be feeling this good at this point is a true blessing. Maybe its a girl. In other good news I have only gained 3 pounds so far. Yeah!!
I think that is it for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful new years. I will be working. I figured well no parties for me this year so I should just ring it in with the babies in the NICU.

Thanksgiving 2009 and First snow

So I guess I am now going to shoot for a post once a month. I cannot believe that it has been that long since I did a post. Sorry about that. Last month Trey and I decided to do some remodeling in the house. We wanted hardwoods from the time we were building but the builder did not offer the kind that we wanted. So we are doing it now. It was a long process and very stressful for Cooper and I. We had to stay upstairs the whole time and listen to them banging. I tried to keep our routine as much as possible but it still put some stress on Cooper and I. But in the end it was worth it. They turned out just like we wanted them too. Here is some pics.

Then thanksgiving came around. We loaded up and headed down to Trey's parents this year to celebrate with his family. We had a great time getting to see everyone and the food was great. Then on the way back home we stopped in midlothian and got to see my family and have lunch with them.

This past week Cooper and I have been decorating for Christmas. it took us all week but we got it done. It even felt a little like Christmas when we woke up on Wednesday morning and it was snowing outside. It was the first time Cooper has seen snow. He loved it. I did not know how much longer it was going to last so I threw a hat and shoes on him and put him outside in his PJs to play in it for a minute while I took some pics. How fun. I am ready to take him snow skiing. Only a couple of years from now and he will be ready to go.

Well that is it for this post. Have a great weekend.
