Picking and Carving

We went and got our pumpkin at the murphy road church again this year.  Cooper picked his out and Ryleigh well lets just say she was to distracted by the water.  And let me just say she left the patch completely wet hair and all.  She wears me out :)  A couple of days later we carved our pumpkins.  Cooper did great this year digging all the stuff out and carving his Hulk pumpkin.  Ryleigh on the other hand did not want to get dirty in the gooey stuff.  She did however helped me put pretty stickers on her Cinderella carriage pumpkin.

Pumpkin Tradition

As most of you know that read our blog every year Shelley and I gather the gang up and head to see the pumpkins at the arboretum.  It was a good time.  The kids were pretty good, except for those few times the little ones wanted to run off.  We got some great pictures.

Plano Balloons 2012

Every September we have made it a tradition to go to the Plano Balloon festival, so we went again this year. This year the balloons actually took off which was so nice to get to see.  Usually it is to windy.  The kids had a good time and so did my mom and I.  Great memories

Another Fall Ball

So baseball is slowly becoming the life of the Watts household.  When we asked Cooper at the end of the summer what he would like to do this fall he said baseball and swimmng.  I asked him if he wanted to try soccer and he said no I just like baseball because it is the funnest (Cooper wording).  So we signed him up for another season.  Trey and a friend of his were going to coach but they were late on the uptake and so Cooper just got assigned a team.  We were much happier with this coach than last seasons.  Coach Frank did a great job with the kids.  We moved Cooper to the Wylie league so that he could play up and play modified Tball.  This is when the kids get 3 coach pitched balls at them and then if they miss those they get to hit off the T.  Cooper learned a lot and got better as the season went on.  It was fun to watch him play this year, like watching a real baseball game almost.  It is amazing how much the littel boys have grown up and how there is not a lot of crying on the field anymore.  Cooper was able to hit several times off Coach Franks pitch and his grounding has improved.  All in all it was a great season.

First Day MDO and Tumbling

I enrolled Ryleigh in MDO this year on Tuesdays. Of course I had to have a picture of her on her first day. It was a little rough for her the first couple of weeks. I suspected it though because she still cries when we drop her off at sunday school. The teachers say she only cries for a little while and then she is off to play. She also naps really well at school which shocked me because Cooper hardly ever slept. I really enjoy my Tuesdays, it is a nice time for me to have some alone time. But I look forward to picking their smiling faces up also.
Another first for Ryleigh this year is Tumbling. I wanted to put her in dance but I was not sure if she was quite ready for that since she is not that great at her listening skills right now. So I decided to do tumbling instead. Well lets just say I was about to drop the class because all she did was cry and sit on the floor and suck her thumb. It was pretty sad, and she did that for 2 classes. Then on the 3 class the teacher finally got her to participate a little. Now she runs around like crazy and has a lot of fun. She has mastered her forward roll :) This is her on the first day in her attire.

First Day Preschool

My little baby boy started preschool this year. Can you believe it? He is attending First Baptist Wylie preschool 2 days a week. This is his picture on the first day of school. I almost cried dropping him off this day because I just drop him off from the car. No walking him in this year. He did great. He got out of the car like it was no big deal. His teacher this year is Mrs Pensky and he just thinks she is great. He is learnin a lot and making lots of friends.

See ya later Aunt Sara and Uncle Jacob

Back in August we had to say see ya later to Aunt Sara and Uncle Jacob. They were off for new adventures in Boston. We had a little going away party for them at Alicia's house. We will be glad to have them back in Texas.

Sobotik family time

Trey's cousin got married down in houston so we went down to be there for it and spend some time with the family. Trey's uncle had a get together the day before the wedding so we could all have a cook out. It was a great time with everyone. Then the next day we went to the wedding and celebrated Jennifers big day. Cooper and Nat Dog playing ball
This is a great picture of Trey and Nathan with there grandmother GG

Girls weekend

next getaway. My good friend Stephanie and I went on a much needed girls weekend getaway. We went to Pheonix for the weekend. I know you are probably thinking are they crazy for going there in the middle of summer. Well yes we were, but it ended up being cooler there than here that weekend and we got a really good deal. We had such a good time. While we were there we hung by the pool, got pedicures, did some shopping, ate at some really good places, and went ATVing through the desert. Our ATVing was really fun and I am so glad we did it. We got to see a few animals while we were out there including a couple of snakes and rabbits. But we really wanted to see a mountian lion cub and a lizard, and we never found either one. I am looking forward to our next getaway

Really 80

My grandmother Ma turned 80 on July 10 so of course we had a party to celebrate her 80 years of life with us. She is such a wonderful person. I am so very blessed to have been a part of her life for this many years and learn the things I did from her.

July 4

My family was on the ill side for the 4th holidays so we kept it pretty mellow, We did go to the plano fireworks to at least get to watch some fireworks but we stayed away from everyone so not to spread our germs. The fireworks were good. We had some sparklers left over from last year and did a couple of those when we got home and that was about it for our holidays. Hopefully next year will be better. We did get to go for our annual allen fireworks show which is always so good. It was the weekend before the holidays so we were all well at that time. The first 3 pictures are from the allen fireworks
These pics are from Plano fireworks and our house on July 4

Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to such a great one. Thanks Trey for being a great dad and provider for your children. They love spending time with you and cherish each moment yall have together.

Ryleigh 2 year Birthday

Ryleigh celebrated the big 2 on June 11 2012, and what fun we had doing it. On the actual day of her birthday we started VBS at our church so we did that in the morning and then had a little family party that night and she opened gifts from us. Then the following saturday we had her Minnie Mouse Luau Party. I rented the pool clubhouse in our neighborhood and we had a pool party for her. We had a great turn out of our dear friends. I think Ryleigh had a great time even though she feel asleep in the pool. Ryleigh has developed very well. Her language is great. She speaks in full sentences and is very vocal on what she does and does not want. She climbs on everything. She knows most of her animals except she gets confused on horses and cows. She can count to 10 and she can say her ABCs. There are several times that I forget how little she is because she is growing up so fast. She really wants to be able to do everything her bubby does. We have loved every bit of being able to raise this sweet little girl. Even though at times she has quit the attitude. Here are her stats from her 2 year appt. She is 24lbs 13oz putting her in the 25%. She has dropped on her weight growth but really nothing alarming since her height is 36.3 inches being in the 97%. She is tall and skinny. She had a great checkup.

Grandparents and BBall

Nana and Papa had come up to watch Cooper play a game this past spring time and so I snapped a few shots of them

Hilton Head 2012 Beach

We had a great time at the beach playing. The kids were a little afraid of the water but Cooper finally went in and on the last day Ryleigh decided it was not that bad. We built sandcastles, collected sea shells, and of course hunted crabs.
