Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. Ours was good. Treys parents and sister came up to our house and we had it here. It was just us so it was a lot smaller than we are all used to. But since Cooper had been sick and was just getting better it was for the best. It was actually really relaxing. Janice, Emilie and I cooked the big dinner and it turned out really good. The only bad thing about the holiday was that papa (Vaughn) got really sick thursday morning and so he did not even get to eat with us and had to stay far away from all of us in case he was contagious. And Trey had really bad sinusitis and allergies all day so he did not feel that good either. So Emilie and I had to eat more to make up for them. :) Cooper had a great time on Thanksgiving. I let him feed himself and he loved it. He was covered in potatoes. It was the cutest thing.
So Friday we did not get up early to go shopping. I really did not see any great deals on stuff that we needed this year. I was bummed for that but then again it saved me money too. So later that afternoon we all went to Toys R us to shop for Coopers christmas. It was so much fun. We had three buggies. Trey and I got our Santa gifts, and you know how grandparents can be. He is going to have lots to open. How much fun.
I still need to post pics of the house I know. It is coming along good. I am pretty much unpacked. Now I am trying to figure out how I want to decorate this place. Some things from the old house just dont go in this house which is a bummer because that means I have to go buy things.
That is it for now. Just keep us in your prayers that us three do not get whatever Vaughn had when he was here. Especially Cooper.

We are IN!!!!

We are finally in our new house. We have been in since the 15th of this month and we are still unpacking. Unpacking is hard enough and then when you add a baby into the mix it is even harder. Janice came and stayed last week with us and watched Cooper while I unpacked and stuff and that was such a big help. Moving in went good, My cousin Amos came over and helped Trey move the big stuff and we can not thank him enough. They both did so good they did not break anything. The funny thing is I did. I broke our bed. I put a big crack on the headboard. Thank goodness for wood glue.

The other thing that has been going on is Cooper is sick. He has a bad cold. All last week he had a runny nose and just bad congestion. Then on Friday he started coughing pretty bad. Then Sat it just got worse. So we ended up taking him to the doctor and they put him on antibiotics and ear drops. It is now Monday and he is the same and the cough is worse I think. He just cries all day long. The antibiotics need to kick in. I hate seeing him like this and not being able to do anything about it.

It is the week of Thanksgiving and we have family coming up tomorrow and Wed. I am looking forward to some good stuffing and some turkey. The only bad thing is I have to work Thanksgiving night. But maybe I will be canceled. I am glad that we are not traveling with Cooper feeling the way he is.

Is anyone going to be crazy and go shopping on Friday. I am going to try. We need a TV and hopefully we will find a great deal. Well that is it for now I need to try and put Cooper down for a nap. Sorry no pics this time Cooper just has not been up for picture taking.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Last week

This is our last week to be homeless. We close on the new house this Friday and move in over the weekend. I am so ready to get settled. The new house looks great. I just want to tell Alicia and Randy thanks for letting us stay with them for a month. I know that having the 2 of us and a baby was not easy. We are so very grateful to them both.

Cooper got his 2nd tooth in this week so he has been kind of grumpy but understandable. Only a whole mouth full to go.
We went to another college football game this past saturday and met up with some friends and had a great time.
Today Alicia got Cooper a new toy that he can practice standing up with and walking with. So we opened it up tonight and let him play with it and he LOVED IT. He just kept smiling and laughing. Thanks Aunt Alicia for the fun toy. Here are some pics
