Last weekend I actually had the whole weekend off which is not common and so Trey and I decided to take a little trip down to Georgetown to see Nana and Papa. Cooper had a rough couple of nights due to the fact that he just cut his molars. This teething thing is rough. On Saturday Trey and I took advantage of having some babysitters and went and saw a movie and then went out that night and stayed the night away on the lake. We had a great time it being just the two of us but really missed our little man.

On the way home on Sunday we stopped and saw my mom. It is a great break in our drive. Since our Easter weekend was so crazy busy and the weather was not that great we did a little Easter egg hunt for Cooper that afternoon at my moms. He was so funny going around getting the eggs and he even put them in his basket. Then I spotted the riding lawn mower being out. Well when we were kids we used to drive that things all over the yard. We would have a blast on it. Since we never got our go kart that we always asked Santa to bring us the lawn mower had to do. Isn't that so sad. So I decided to introduce Cooper to the joy of riding the mower. So we got on and took it for a spin around the yard. After a while he got used to it and when Trey and him got on it together he was ready to drive by himself.

This past week I just worked and then on Friday Cooper and I went with my mom to Abilene to go take some pics of Sara and Jacob for their engagement pics. We had a good time seeing them.
Cooper has done some cute things lately that I should share. So I think I clean everyday and of course he watches me. Well lately he has wanted to help. The other day I look over and he had taken a rag and was washing the tile for me, it was so funny. He loves to push the vacuum too. Then lately when we go outside to the yard he will go find the weeds and pick them. Can you tell what I do when we are outside. You have to love Texas and the weeds.

I have such a little climber on my hands. He loves to climb up things. The problem is is getting down. He just dives off things with no fear. So we are working on getting off things without hurting ourselves.

As for speaking, well we were doing pretty good with words but it seems like we have just stopped wanting to talk all together. We are back to only saying dadadadad.
