Best Friends

Last Thursday Shelley came up with Jax to hang out with us for a little bit. So we got pics of the boys playing on the floor together. Ok well they were really not playing but just kind of looking at each other not knowing what to do. Cooper and I wish that they lived closer to us so we could see them more often. Maybe one day. :)

On the Go

I survived my night last night YEAH!!! It was by far the hardest night I have had since I have been back to work. Since I have such a wonderful baby boy when I got home he let me sleep a little and then we woke up for about 30 min and then the best part, he went back to sleep with me for a long morning nap. His daddy told him to try and sleep good for me when he left for work this morning and Cooper listened to him .

Working and want to go to sleep

Well I am typing this from work and it is 3am and all I can think of is my big warm bed. It has been such a long night so I thought I would waste some time typing on here.
Cooper is doing much better. After the second dose of his medicine he was back to his normal self ( full of smiles). We did not do a whole lot this past weekend. Trey's dad came in on friday and took us to dinner and got to spend some time with Cooper. Then saturday I had a thing for work in the morning and then we decided to head to midlothian to hang with the family for a while. Then sunday I worked a day shift. So that sums that up. Lets see what else can I talk about.
Nothing really new with the house stuff. We are kind of at a stand still with everything. Just waiting to close. Our inspection went well so that is done thank goodness. The new house still looks like it did last week except they are doing all the wiring right now. We did find a mess up that happened. In one of the bedrooms they added a window seat that was not suppose to be there. It is a long story but the reason I dont want it is because it messes up any kind of furniture situation in that room. It will be an easy fix for them.
This week all we have going on is work. And then on the weekend I am going to the women of faith conference with my church.
Well I do have some really cute pics of Cooper but since I am at work I will have to post them later today when I get home and hopefully take a nap. If Cooper lets me.
Ok I better get back to work, break time is over.

Coopers not feeling good

We officially have our first sickness. On Monday when Cooper woke up from his nap his voice was hoarse. I did not think much of it at first but then it never went away. Then the next night he added a cough into the mix and some horrible nights sleep for me and him. So yesterday I decided to take him into the doctor and so come to find our he has Croup. So we have started some medicine and today he already sounds a little better. It breaks my hear for him to feel bad. You know he does not feel good when yesterday we could not get him to flash that million dollar smile at us.

As for the house stuff. We had our inspection yesterday and we still have not seen the report which is very irritating. We were told a couple of things that they found, nothing major just annoying things that we have to fix. Can I just tell you that I am sooooooo ready for all this to be over. I am sooooo tired of having to leave my house all the time with Cooper and the dogs. I am sooooo tired of not being able to stay home and sleep after working all night long. And I am tired of realtor and the paperwork that goes with it all. Ok I am done complaining. Hope everyone is having a good week.

Cooper's Nap

I had put Cooper down for his nap this afternoon and he cries everytime i put him down in his crib. Well he cries everytime he has to go down for a nap even though he is so tired even if it is in your arms. So he was crying and then he go quiet. I thought man that was really quick and went to go check on him and this is what i found.

He is such a mess.

So some good news is, it looks as if we will be moving. We had our third offer on the house yesterday and we took it. So as long as everything goes through with inspection and closing then we will be done with all this house showing mess. Another good thing about it is that the people cant move in until the end of Oct so we are going to rent the house back from them for the next 2 months. If it works out right we might only have to move once. Our house is suppose to be done at the end of Oct or the beginning of Nov. It will be nice to be able to pack up slowly.

Well Cooper is back to crying I hate listening to him do that but i dont know how else to get him use to going to sleep in his own bed. I better go try and comfort him.

Date Night Again

So Trey and I are going on another date tonight YEAH!!!! does that make me sound like I am dying to get away from Cooper? That is so not what that means. It is just nice to have a night of just Trey and I. Even though the whole time we are out we are thinking and talking about him. Our great friend Elisha is going to keep Cooper tonight for us. It is so great to have such great friends that help you out. Our other friend Sarah kept Cooper for me a while back when I really needed someone to help me out and also our friend Steph did the same thing. I love all of yall for being my friend and loving Cooper so much. I am so blessed to have the three of yall in my life. So thanks girls for all you do for me and for taking such good care of Cooper. He loves spending time with yall.

Still no news on the house offer still trying to work it out. I just figure if this was meant to be then God will work it all out.

House Update

We received a call last night that someone is ready to make an offer on our house but it's a little lower than what we were expecting. Over the next few days we will try to work through the process to see if we can all agree on a price.

It looks like the new house will be ready in early December. Were hoping to have my 30th bday party and Christmas in the new house this year. If not we can try to get everyone into a 1 bedroom apartment :).

Time for an Update

Where do I start. It has been a while and alot has been going on. I will start where I left off I guess. On July 21 our good friends Robert and Steph got to welcome there second son Ashton into the world and he is so cute. We are so happy for them.

Then the next day Cooper and I had our last class of yoga. Yoga was fun but our teacher has been on vaca for the last 3 weeks and the fill in just does not work me hard enough. When I leave there I want to hurt the next day. I am not into the type of yoga that is mostly meditation, I like to stretch and hold the hard poses. So I decided that Cooper and I would drop doing that. I think he will be ok with that since it feel right at his nap time. So we are going to keep doing playwisely class on Thursdays. Cooper really likes going and learns so much. Then when we get home he takes a looooong nap for me because his little brain has just learned alot.

So along with classes and work that was my week that week. Then Coop's Nana and Papa came in that following weekend and got to play with Cooper and they loved it and he was spoiled.

So Trey and I took advantage of the free babysitters and went out on a date that Friday night. We got to go see a movie and dinner. We have not been to the movies since before Coop entered the worlk.

So as for this past week lets see. Well I worked some more. Dont you just think that work is so overrated. The big thing this week is that my sister Alicia and her husband Randy finally bought a house and closed on Thursday. We are so happy for them. For those that dont know they have been looking for a long long time. They would find a house and then there would already be tons of offers on it. They have been living in an extended stay hotel for i think almost 2 months. So this was a real blessing. So Thursday night after they were officialy home owners we took Coop over to go swimming.

Then this weekend Coop's aunt Emilie came up to spend time with him before she starts back to work. It was good seeing her and she helped Trey out while I worked a day shift.

So some new things Cooper is doing. Lets see. He has discovered his feet and loves to play with them and stick them in his mouth at times. it is the cutest thing to watch. He is still just a talking and talking. He has so much to say. He is just like his daddy. We had started rice cereal a couple of weeks ago and then Cooper got really bad constipation. So we stopped for a while and then decided to start back up again put to add a little bit of apple prune juice to his cereal with the milk and things seem to be working good now. He loves eating like a big boy. He wants to hold the bowl and then help with the spoon.

Ok this post is getting long.
