Ryleigh is 3 days old today and still just as sweet and beautiful as ever. Last night my mom stayed with me so that Trey could be home with Cooper so that he could get a good nights sleep. The both of them. Then this morning Trey brought him up to see Ryleigh and I ( Cooper is in the best moods in the morning time). When he got to the room he grabbed the boppy pillow and sat on the couch and then started to pat the pillow for us to put Ryleigh on the pillow. We were so excited. We placed Ryleigh in his lap and he started looking her over. Then he loved to just sit there and rub her head. We would tell him that she was getting cold and he would cover her up. Later today he gave her a kiss. What a great moment we shared as a family. Here are some more pics.

Happy Birthday Ryleigh Ann

June 11, 2010 the birthday of our beautiful little girl. She was born at 9:22am and weighs 8lbs 4.8oz and 19 inches long. She is so precious. She does not look anything like her older brother. She has dark brown hair and has a round face and chubby little cheeks. I have fallen in love all over again. We are so blessed to have 2 healthy children. Here are pictures of the day.

My sweet babies. This is the only way we could get them both in a picture together is Cooper sleeping.

Ryleigh has been adjusting well. She was very very sleepy on her birthday and so she was not into eating at first and then later that night finally woke up and started eating and opened her eyes. Cooper points to Ryleigh and says baby and that was about all he would do until last night he finally touched her leg. He is warming up to her slowly.

Ryeligh's Arrival

As I type this we are counting down the hours until we meet our sweet little girl. I really should be asleep right now since she is coming in less then 11 hours but who can sleep. And I had to do a post for her like I did for Cooper 2 years ago. We are scheduled for a csection on June 11 at 930 in the morning. It does not seem like it is really happening tomorrow. These past 9 months have gone by so fast. Thank you Ryleigh for giving me an easy pregnancy this go round. We are so very excited to meet you tomorrow. May God keep you and I safe and healthy during your bith. We love you.

Today Cooper got his big brother gift from Ryleigh.. He got a set of left handed golf clubs. He loved them. Daddy and him went outside and hit some golf balls. He even came up to my belly and gave Ryleigh a kiss. He is so sweet.

Beat the Heat

Since my last post we have been trying to get everything ready for our new arrival. During that time we have had lots of family time which has been great for Cooper. Since it has already gotten so hot outside and we have a 2 year old boy that wants to be outside all the time we went and got him a little blow up pool for the back yard. He was loving it until the other day when there was a june bug in it and he kept yelling bee and so trey got the bug out and know Cooper just goes over to the edge of the pool and says bee. So maybe this week he will be back into playing in it. I hate june bugs so like mother like son. Cooper and I have done a lot of shopping and cleaning too.

Ryleigh's Shower May 22, 2010

I have added a little more to Ryleigh's room over the last couple of weeks. Still have a little more to do and I am running out of time. I am as of tomorrow 36 weeks and only have 2 weeks 5 days to go. Things are still going really well. I am to the point where sleep is impossible, heartburn is horrible, and just big. LOL. but I know it will all be worth it when I see her little face.






After my shower yesterday and Cooper took his nap we headed back over to Alicia's house to let Cooper swim for the first time this year. He loves the water and will not get out even if he is purple and shaking. Typical kid. He had a blast with his aunts.

Here are some pics of the baby shower that Alicia and Sara threw for me. It was a lot of fun and Ryleigh got so many clothes. I think I might have to change her 2 times a day just so she can wear them all. Thank you to everyone that came up. We appreciate everyones support. We are so lucky to have such loving and caring family and friends.

I have completed Ryleigh's wall. YEAH!!!! it took me like 2 weeks of working on it here and there. I love the way it turned out. Now to decorate and wait for her arrival.
